Bryan S. Ware

Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder
Chief company strategist, lead designer, and primary developer of Digital Sandbox’s patented terrorist risk algorithms, Bryan is also responsible for designing the breakthrough Risk Analysis Center (RAC) security risk management product line and its underlying predictive analytics platform. He has been at the forefront of national innovation in risk analytics for over 15 years, leading threat mitigation technologies for terrorist attacks and helping identify and overcome military vulnerabilities, protect against bio-terrorism, boost infrastructure protection, contend with drug trafficking, and address Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs). A frequent speaker, he is consulted regularly by Congress and at the Cabinet level on security and analytical risk management. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Optics from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Anthony F. Beverina

President, Co-Founder
Anthony is responsible for setting the company’s strategy for existing and emerging analytic risk management markets.  He was the driving force behind the establishment of Digital Sandbox’s Risk Analysis Center, creating the integrated product and managed services strategy for this unique offering.  Anthony is a well-known authority on risk management, having pioneered analytic risk management solutions for Federal, state, and local agencies.  He has an 18-year track record of leading clients through the transformation from patchwork tools and inconsistent consultation into results-driven, technology-enabled analytic risk management programs.  Anthony has orchestrated the application of risk analytics in high-intensity operational environments for the military, Special Forces, law enforcement, and first responder organizations.  As a recognized industry expert, he is a regular speaker and advisor to government and corporate organizations on risk management, preparedness, and risk-based funding allocation strategies.  Prior to founding Digital Sandbox, Anthony established and led multimillion dollar Modeling and Simulation business units at Sonalysts, Inc. and Kaman Sciences Corporation.  He holds a Master of Science degree in Material Science from the University of Virginia and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Robert S. Kerr

Chief Technology Officer, Co-Founder
As CTO, Robert balances innovations developed by the company’s analytic team with market and client feature needs. He drives the Digital Sandbox product roadmap and directs deployment of new features into the company’s product lines. Robert’s experience includes more than 15 years leading analysis, design, and implementation of large-scale software engineering efforts in risk analysis, physics-based simulation, and high-fidelity flight simulation domains.  He has published numerous papers on software engineering and simulation.  Robert holds a Master of Engineering Management from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.

David C. Daniels

Chief Scientist
David leads the construction of risk formulas and risk-based funding allocation models for Digital Sandbox customers. Focused on enabling clients to quantify risk and make informed management decisions, he provides methodological leadership and consistency across all Digital Sandbox analytical products. This ensures adherence to accepted best practices in risk theory while also addressing unique customer requirements. He also develops extensions to Digital Sandbox risk analysis models for new applications and new clients, and has pioneered techniques for quantifying threat likelihood information.  David has been actively consulting on national security issues since 1999.  He holds a Ph.D. and Master of Arts in Physics from Harvard, a Master of Science in Physics from Oxford, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from Wheaton College.

Andrew Hoddick

Chief Financial Officer
Andrew is responsible for all activities related to the company’s finances, as well as management of administrative, legal, tax and accounting concerns.  He has more than a decade of indispensible financial and operational experience in start-ups and new initiatives, including serving in similar positions in two other technology companies.  He has raised several million dollars in venture funding and has extensive experience in intellectual property issues.  Andrew earned his MBA from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Williams College.

Linwood Hudson

Vice President, Engineering, Co-Founder
Linwood oversees the design, development, and deployment of Digital Sandbox risk management software applications.  He focuses primarily on the analysis, design, and implementation of risk metrics and methodologies for all-hazards risk management, critical infrastructure protection, and preparedness management.  His interests include applying advanced artificial intelligence and simulation approaches (e.g. Bayesian networks, path-based search algorithms, 3D modeling and analysis) to tackle risk management challenges.  Linwood has over 12 years of experience developing and leading design/development projects for software modeling highly-complex systems.  He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Virginia Tech.

Greg Sloan

Vice President, Sales and Business Development
Greg leads Digital Sandbox’ go to market activities, including federal, state and local, and commercial sales and business development.  He has a 24 year track record of accomplishments in sales, marketing, alliance management, and operations for technology companies ranging from start-ups to large multi-nationals.  Greg holds a Master of Administrative Science in Management degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Frostburg State University.

Michael J. Sherman

Vice President, Research & Development, Co-Founder
Michael leads new product design and development efforts for the company. Working closely with the engineering and analytic teams, his focus is driving product innovation and delivery for new customers and markets. Michael has over 11 years of experience in software development, including 3D graphics applications, physics modeling, and open-source software projects. He holds dual BS degrees in Computer Science and Physics from Carnegie Mellon University.

Sunny Singh

Vice President, Client Services
Sunny leads the Client Services Team, including all client services managers and risk analysts, to deliver analytic risk management solutions for customers.  He has a track record of successfully building long-term strategic customer relationships by selling and delivering high-value solutions to complex customer problems in both the Federal and commercial markets.  Sunny has held various leadership roles in services, sales, business development, and corporate strategy, all in the software technology industry.  He holds an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Systems Engineering from University of Virginia.

Adam S. Trister

Director, Client Services Operations
Adam is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Digital Sandbox Client Services Division. He is responsible for strategic planning, project revenue and expense forecasting and tracking, and ensuring the timely and quality delivery of products and services. Adam’s previous experience includes serving as a program manager and legal advisor for the Governor of Maryland’s Office of Homeland Security Critical Infrastructure Protection Program.  Mr. Trister holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami School of Law and a Bachelors degree in Political Science and History from Rutgers – The State University of New Jersey.
